Window tints can offer a true alternative to blinds and curtains.
Window tints can either compliment other window dressings or offer a true alternative with increased benefits at a lower cost. Blinds and curtains can be very expensive and can quickly become damaged and messy particularly in public places, schools, offices etc. This can give a building a jaded and untidy appearance and the window dressings are no longer doing the jobs they were meant to do. They also gather dust quickly and can be very time consuming to keep clean. Window tints have non of these disadvantages. They can often be cheaper to install than windows and blinds. Heat and glare can be controlled without having to constantly get up and open and close the blinds. They are easy to keep clean and much less likely to be damaged. They give a building a smart, clean professional appearance and by not blocking the view they provide a clear open aspect to workplaces, lobbys etc.

Advantages of window film:
For conservatories window film can reduce heat build up considerably more than blinds by preventing the heat getting through the glass in the first place. CoolKote and Metalux are window films specifically designed for use on both glass and polycarbonate conservatory roofs |
